Fernilee Reservoir along Goyt valley to Taxal church.
6.3 miles generally easy with brief moderate ascents of 924ft.
Great views and walking on generally good paths and tracks, particularly the second half of the walk. Some brief ascents were a little muddy and slippery when recce’d so poles may be useful.
