Overview

Route: Disley Golf Course, Stanleyhall Wood, Canal Tow Path to Bridge 21, Roman Bridge, Cown Edge Way, Mellor Golf course, the Banks, very steep steps up towards Mellor Cross, short tricky rocky descent at Higher Cliffe Poultry Farm, Brook Bottom, New Mills Golf Course, New Mills Millennium Walkway, follow River Goyt to Hague Bridge, return to Disley via Hollinwood Road and steep steps up to the Ridgeway and Leafield Road. 

Bring ICE cards, food and drink for coffee and lunch stops. 

Mainly good tracks, but will probably be muddy and slippery in places so poles are advised.
