A gentle outward journey from Dolonog, following close to the dramatic River Vyrnwy and Glyndwr's Way, through meadows and wooded sections until the path reaches Pontrobert. Here the route crosses over the river bridge, leaving Glyndwr's Way for the return section which initially joins the Ann Griffith's Walk, and then re-joins Glyndwr's Way and finally arriving back in Dolonog. The walk includes one steep section on the return part of the journey along Ann Griffith's way from Pontrobert.The route may need to be slightly adapted following the the final recce during the week prior to the walk taking place. Please bring lunch and snacks for the 2 stops we will take. Please also ensure you have sufficient drinks in case it is a hot day.The route includes sections which involve walking through fields so walkers may want to take this into account when choosing what to wear. Insect repellent advised.Toilets should be available in Dolanog.Toilet breaks will be built into the walk.
