Meet at 09:35 at Wemyss Bay to catch the 09.50 train to Drumfrochar.
An easy but longish walk above Greenock with extensive views across the Firth of Clyde
From Drumfrochar we walk up the road to Overton where we join the Greenock Cut. We follow this to the Cornalees Bridge visitor centre. From there we follow the Kelly Cut to the Kelly Reservoir and finally we return to Wemyss Bay through Kelly Glen.
Local Grade: B
Terrain: Local grade is "B" because of length but not challenging. Wet and muddy at Kelly Cut but otherwise straightforward. Generally flattish with few challenges.
