A local walk above Dumbarton visiting the Lang Craigs before passing the three Greenlands Reservoirs which were built to provide drinking water for Dumbarton, Bowling and the Vale of Leven.
Via houses to rough woodland, through pastures to rough grazing and up to the Craigs. We visit the three Greenlands Resevoirs via forest tracks returning over more rough pastures to tarmac and onto rutted footpaths. Overall not too taxing with some steep sections.
Local Grade: C+
Terrain: Woodland, dirt and sometimes steep paths. Farmland muddy around gates and some other well worn parts. One brief spot of exposure getting onto the Craigs. Good forest tracks.
Max height: 365 m.
