A walk at Inveraray passing Inveraray Castle and visiting a viewpoint above the castle before descending to the River Aray and returning through woodland.

Follow the estate road past Inveraray Castle and take the forest track towards Dun na Cuaiche Tower. Head into the forest and using small tracks ascend to the trig point on the hill. Descend through deciduous trees rejoining the track to the Tower. Return by heading north along the River Aray to cross the Carloonan Bridge to return on forest tracks to the car park.

Local Grade: B

Terrain: Undulating woodland paths and forestry tracks. Trackless section to the top of the hill with some steep sections. Boggy sections on the hill and occasionally tussocky.

Max height: 322 m.
