Overview

Starting in Compstall, we walk through Etherow Country Park which has an abundance of bird life and then through Ernocroft Wood. We then walk through fields with lovely views of Bleaklow and Kinder Scout then continue to skirt round the village of Broadbottom. We then walk through some woods to Werneth Low and up to the war memorial then finish on a quiet country lane back to Compstall for a refreshment at the Andrew Arms.
