We are the Take a Hike Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a repeat of a walk in May this year. A short ramble starting in Farnley Hall Park before dipping into Nan Whins Wood and Troy Dale. After heading north through the trees a steep climb brings us up to the top of Post Hill and then back to the park. Free parking is available at Farnley Hall, with the 42 bus also getting within reach of the starting point.
There is a section where we have to walk along a narrow road so care is needed. It could be muddy in places so please wear appropriate footwear. There won't be a lunch stop but we will take one short break.
