Overview

Walk from Bennett’s Cross towards Fernworthy Reservoir. A walk on tracks and paths across open moorland, through Fernworthy Forest and alongside the reservoir. We’ll see the double stone row at Assycombe in the forest and the standing stone with double stone row near Hurston Ridge. Hopefully the heather will be out and the moor will be looking lovely.

Bring a drink for our coffee stop. Dogs on leads. Toilets at the reservoir should be open.

Option for refreshment afterwards at Warren House Inn.
