Overview

The walk starts from the Blencathra Centre and descends to Derwent Folds and then skirts Latrigg (those who feel energetic can go up Latrigg on grassy paths to gain extensive views of Derwentwater, Keswick and the Fells, adding 300ft and 1ml to the walk).  The walk along the Glenderaterra Valley is on a rocky path and returns on a wide track, crossing several becks with extensive views across the fells.
