Overview

This walk explores the rolling countryside to the north and east of Heads Nook, passing through Fenton, How, Hayton and Faugh as it makes its way along woodland tracks, farm paths and quiet lanes and roads.  With little elevation, the ever changing views can be impressive on a clear day, taking in the Solway plain, the North Pennines and the Lakeland Fells.
