We offer walks in London and Home Counties, accessible by public transport.
A walk through farmland and woods, with some good views to north and south, and a chance to see two ancient yew trees in the churchyards in Crowhurst and Tandridge. The walk is fairly level, though there is a long uphill section towards the end. There are quite a few stiles. After wet weather there will be some muddy stretches.
Train: London Victoria 10.08, East Croydon 10.26, change at Redhill for Tonbridge train, arriving at Godstone 11.10. Buy return ticket to Edenbridge.
Lunch: bring a picnic and something to sit on. The lunch spot is in Staffhurst Woods with no facilities.
Toilet: Use the toilet on the train, otherwise toilets are al fresco.
