Overview

From Earlsfield station we join the Wandle Trail and follow it downstream to Wandsworth town centre, and then down now calm Old York Road past Wandsworth station and the adjoining developments. We briefly join the Thames Path before crossing York Gardens to Clapham Junction station, from where we work our way across Clapham Common and on to the Brixton Windmill, location of the South Bank AGM.

Toilets: In Wandsworth (but not until 11:00!), on Clapham Common, and at the Brixton Windmill.

Lunch: At the end of the walk. South Bank members attending the AGM will be served tea, coffee and a selection of cakes, but are invited to bring a picnic lunch.

Train: London Waterloo (10:02) Clapham Junction (10:12) arrives Earlsfield 10:16 (Dorking train).
