Overview

The route uses rocky undulating paths over High Rigg down to the delightful Chapel at St John in the Vale. There is then a little minor road walking before picking up the St John Beck footpath back to the start point.

The walk starts at 550ft elevation and gains 600ft in the first 1.5 miles of the walk.

Sue Greenwood has kindly agreed to guide us on this walk.
