Overview

A loop westwards from Friday Street firstly across open fields from Abinger Common to Rad Lane, with fine views of the North Downs. Then we follow ancient hollow ways to Hoe (near Peaslake). After a coffee stop (bring your own), we loop south along the edge of Tenningshook Wood and on woodland paths to Holmbury St Mary and around Pasture Wood (avoiding that steep path) back to Abinger Common.

For the most part only gentle undulations on this walk.

We pass the Abinger Hatch near the end of the walk should anyone be in need of further refreshment!
