Overview

Starting from Hornbeam Station car park we will join the Harrogate Ringway and go through fields and over the main Leeds to Harrogate railway line before heading near Pannal Golf Club and crossing the busy Harrogate bypass.  After this more fields are taken to Kirkby Overblow and then on to the East Plantation fishing ponds where the track to Haggs Road is taken.

After a walking along Haggs Road for about a quarter of mile we cross to the sanctuary of another part of the old Harrogate to Wetherby railway line.  From here we head to Follifoot village, through the graveyard and across the busy Harrogate bypass to Rudding Park Golf course.  Again we join the Harrogate Ringway near the Yorkshire Showground and back to Hornbeam Park.

Refreshments at the hotel near the car park.

Dogs welcome.
