Meet Point: Near the ticket barriers, or on the platform, at Piccadilly station. Alternatively, meet the group on the train or at the station in Hyde.

Transport to Walk Start: 10:51 train from Manchester Piccadilly (final destination Rose Hill Marple)

Suggested Ticket: Off-Peak Day Return to Hyde Central £7.00

Walk Start: Hyde Central railway station at 11:15

Waypoints: Peak Forest Canal, Trans Pennine Trail, Godley Turntable, Green Lane, Firethorn Lane, Almond Way, Vincent Park, Commercial Street, Pitt Street, Clarke Way.

Return Services: x:23/24 & x:54/55 until 20:55 (no train at 15:54, 17:24, 18:54 or 20:24)

Extra: No toilets at Walk Start or en route.  Optional pub visit at the end of the walk - this will be 'another fine mess' as we finish at The Cheshire Ring, which is a Laurel & Hardy themed pub. Please note the pub takes cash payments only.
