We are the West London Ramblers, mainly covering Ealing and Hounslow, but open to all. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Starting from Benfleet station we’ll walk on the King Charles III coastal path along the Thames Estuary to Leigh on Sea for lunch (approx 4 miles). Picnic lunch at Leigh on Sea with cafes for hot/cold drinks. After lunch we’ll continue to Chalkwell station (opportunity to drop out after approx 6 miles). From Chalkwell, we’ll continue along the coastal path along the seafront to Southend. If the weather is nice we'll stop for an icecream along the way. Return from Southend Central station.

Buy return train ticket to Southend Central on C2C line. Catch train at Fenchurch Street or West Ham.
Meet outside the ticket barriers at Benfleet station
Return from Southend Central station (or drop out at Chalkwell station after lunch)
