Join us for an evening walk to see The Kelpies illuminated under the night sky!
Standing 30 metres tall, these magnificent horse-headed sculptures by artist Andy Scott are a breathtaking sight after dark. Located in The Helix park near Falkirk, The Kelpies pay tribute to both the mythical shape-shifting water spirits of Scottish folklore and the mighty Clydesdale horses that once worked along the Forth and Clyde Canal.
Completed in 2013, they shine as a stunning monument to Scotland’s industrial heritage – a symbol of the nation’s past, present, and future. As the lights come on and their steel forms glow against the evening sky, it’s a truly magical experience not to be missed.
Come along, enjoy a relaxed evening stroll, and witness these majestic giants in all their illuminated glory!
Please be aware that some paths are unlit & therefore it is advisable to come prepared with a headtorch or hand held torch to light the path around you.
The paths are on a mixture of surfaced & unsurfaced, some of which may be muddy or wet after rain.
