Overview

Part of the NMC Keswick Walking Week. Assistance Dogs only. Meet at Booth's Carpark for X5 9:20 (time tbc) bus to Threlkeld. Linear walk above Glenderaterra Beck to Skiddaw House YHA then ascend to Sale How to join broad main ridge path to Skiddaw Man. Here we will hopefully be rewarded with far reaching views. Return (3,500' descent)to Keswick via Jenkin Hill with option of summiting Little Man. A variety of well defined paths BUT mud, rocky paths, one area of boggy ground and greasy grass will be encountered! This is a long day taken at a steady pace. NB the ridge is exposed to the elements so there is an alternative return available should the forecast be unfavourable 3200 ft asc. Tel 07515161423. Please book for this walk in the Walks Programme.
