A level walk from the village of Laddingford to the village of Yalding and return. We walk along the Medway Valley path, across the Lees meadow, past the fine church in Yalding, and back across the river Beult.
Some quiet lanes in the Kent countryside complete the walk, which starts and finishes at the famous Chequers pub.
There are about half a dozen stiles to negotiate on this route, and a short sloping section of river bank. Please wear good gripping boots. Also, one of the fields has no established path through the crops.
We will take a nibble break at Yalding recreation ground.
