Welcome to Capital Walkers, the friendly London Ramblers group for people aged 40+. We walk every weekend and usually at least once during the week.
The Jubilee Walk can be divided into 4 parts and we will be covering the following:
1. Leicester Square to Jubilee Gardens (Trafalgar Sq, The Mall, St James' Park, Houses of Parliament)
2. Jubilee Gardens to Tower Bridge (South Bank)
3. Tower Bridge to St Paul's Cathedral (Tower of London)
4. St Paul's Cathedral to Leicester Square (Fleet Street, Covent Garden).
We will stop for lunch at Tower Bridge. There are numerous takeaways, coffee shops and a Wetherspoons. Please bring your lunch as it is likely to be very busy.
Lots of drop out points and we will pass a number of underground and mainline stations.
No booking required.
The finishing time is only a guide and will depend the speed of the group and how long we stop at the many places of interest on the way.
