Welcome to Capital Walkers, the friendly London Ramblers group for people aged 40+. We walk every weekend and usually at least once during the week.

Stating at King's Cross station we walk via Coal Drops Yard and past Granary Wharf to the Regent's canal, passing Camley Street nature reserve soon after meeting the canal. We continue along the canal to Camden lock, and then through Camden into Regent's park for a stroll around its gardens, next we climb up to Primrose Hill for fine views across London.
After rejoining the Regent’s canal we continue westwards along a pretty section of the canal with large mansions and we also pass the mosque. The walk continues into Little Venice and finally we walk along the Paddington arm of the canal to Paddington station.
We will have a short break for a drink and a snack, the walk will end at the canal side entrance to Paddington station where there are lots of cafe's, pubs and restaurants for a late lunch. There are also benches and places to sit for a picnic.

Travel:
Kings Cross (Northern, Picadilly and Victoria Lines) and Paddington (Bakerloo, District, Circle Lines & Elizabeth Line) both stations are in Zone one.
Meet outside Pret, opposite the information boards at Kings Cross station. The walk will start at 11 am, the estimated finish time is 2 pm.
The finishing time is an estimate only and will be dependent on a number of factors, such as, weather, the speed at which the group walks and the number of breaks taken.
