A roundabout route from Limpsfield Chart initially dropping down from the Greensand Ridge past the previous Caxton Convalescent Hospital, Chartlands, Trevereux, Hurst Farm and Old Dairy Farm before walking through the NT owned farm of Crockham Grange. cutting back up to the ridge through Coachman's and onto Mariners Hill.
We will go past the source of the mighty River Darent, and Crockham House before walking through the iron age Westerham Camp and Squerryes Park into Westerham for our picnic lunch with options for refreshments.
The return will be shorter past Squerryes Court, through the Limpsfield Chart woodland, and to our starting point.
There will be two significant ascents - the climb up to Mariners Hill and leaving Westerham.
Being winter, there will be muddy sections of the route, though we will attempt to minimise these. A significant amount of the lowland section will be along quiet lanes and farm tracks.
In the event of an ice risk we will reroute.
No toilets at the beginning or until we reach Westerham after 7.5 miles.

Turn right off the B269 Kent Hatch Road coming from Edenbridge (Left if coming from Oxted) onto Tally Road or Moorhouse Road and park around the green or in the various carparks.
