You are invited to join us on a pre Burns night walk for a haggis. Alternative lunch arrangements will be available, however.
We will start from Godden Green, enter Knole Park and cross to Knole House which we will circumnavigate before heading to the western gate along broad manicured leafy paths. After leaving the park we will follow the pavement to Solefields Road to a school which numbers royalty amongst its alumni, before entering Sevenoaks Common, crossing the A21 and entering a street of highly des res's. We will leave it quickly briefly dropping down to take in the panoramic views of the High Weald to the South.
We will follow the all weather path through the Montreal Estate woods until we reach Dibden where we strike East through Kippington until we reach our destination - The Sennockian, which is having a Burns Week and serving haggis, neeps and tatties.
Vegetarian and less adventurous Southern options are available and there are alternative establishments in the area and space to eat picnics.
The return journey to Godden Green is short and directly across the Park.
