We are the East Cheshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Meet at the free CP next to Hickory's Smokehouse for this mostly flat and weather-proof (hopefully) short walk. Lindow Common, Black Lake, loop through Newgate Nature Reserve, round Rossmere, cross fields to Eccups Lane for refreshment stop at Morley Green. Mobberley Road passing Moss Grove Farm, cross Altrincham Road, Bank House Farm dropping down into Styal Mill (toilets available). Along the River Bollin towards The Carrs, join the Bollin Valley Way to Kings Road and back to CP.
May be muddy in places, no stiles and dogs welcome.
