An elevated walk along the Yorkshire Wolds Way offering fine views towards the North Yorkshire Moors. Meeting at Potter Brompton at the later than normal time of 10.30am we catch the bus to West Knapton. Ascending up a minor road we soon join the Yorkshire Wolds Way on our return to Potter Brompton. We pass above the villages of West and East Heslerton before descending towards Sherburn, along Potter Brompton Brow and back to our starting point.
This great walk has a modest total ascent of 750ft but affords elevated views to the valley below and towards the Moors
We meet in the layby on the south side of the A64 at Potter Brompton, and catch the 843 Coastliner bus from Scarborough at 10.30am. There is ample free parking.
