A walk following the newly developed Llabadoc Geology Trail with the geologist (Elen) who instigated its development. Leaving Usk we pass by the birthplace of Alfred Russell Wallace then climb up to Cefn Ila before returning to Usk via woodland & fields. During the walk Elen will point out the geology of the surrounding countryside and visit locations where fossils are evident.
This is our summer evening walk. It also includes footpaths and gates which Pontypool Ramblers helped Monmouthshire CC to maintain.
