Overview

Route: From Clough Bank Car Park: Middlewood Way, Tinkers Clough, Canal towpath to Higher Hurdsfield (Jenny's farm), paths to Swanscoe Farm, Kerridge Road, Footpath to top of Kerridge Ridge, return along lower path on east side of ridge to Waulkmill Falls, around base of White Nancy, Oak Lane, Dawson's farm, Bobbin Cottage, canal towpath to steps by Adelphi Mill, Grimshaw Lane, Clough Bank.

Two short, steep climbs and descents (one stepped), 2 stiles, some fairly rough paths (field paths may be muddy if weather has been wet) - bring poles if you use them, and wear appropriate footwear.
