Using field paths, tracks and byways we begin by heading to Rockley, passing through Temple Bottom before picking up the Ridgeway. We leave the Ridgeway at Overton Down and head for Fyfield Down with its Sarsen Stones.
Poles or sticks maybe useful as it could be muddy.
Bring refreshments for 2 stops.

Park in the car park close to the Manton House Estate. To reach it turn off the A4 west of Marlborough signed 'Manton House and Hollow.' Drive for approx 1 mile along a single track road with passing places. Turn left at a Byway sign.
