This walk has been cancelled

Flooding around Staines has got worse rather than better over the last month, so we sadly have to postpone this walk until there is a drought!

Overview

This walk is based on the first section of the Middlesex Greenway from Staines to Enfield, but we have taken the liberty to start along the Colne Valley Trail instead as it's more scenic. This leads us across Staines Moor and then goes through the Heathrow Biodiversity site for a lunch stop in the village of Harmondsworth with its church and historic barn. There are a couple of pubs and some benches for a picnic. This could be a drop out point with a bus to Heathrow. Another couple of miles will get us to West Drayton Station.
