A strenuous but very scenic walk, passing through Denbies Vineyard to join the North Down Way and to the top of Ranmore Common with panoramic views. The route then leaves the North Downs Way to descend southwards towards Westcote before climbing again through dense woodland to join the Greensand Way to Leigh Hill Tower, claimed to be the highest point in SE England. There are several very steep descents.
