We will leave Chorleywood through Old Shire Lane, skirt Phillipshill Wood to then go through some woods past the Chiltern Open Air museum. This brings us to Chalfont St Giles. We will carry on along the river Misbourne to Chalfont St Peter where we will stop for lunch (picnic or cafe). The Chiltern Heritage trail then turns West towards Jordans where we will stop at the historic Quaker Meeting House. From there it's not far to Seer Green.
Chorleywood can be reached by the Chiltern or Metropolitan Line and the outward journey is covered by Oyster. For the return journey from Seer Green a single ticket is required to the edge of zone 6 - choice of trains to W Ruislip or into Marylebone.
Please use toilets at Marylebone or on the Chiltern train.
Long trousers recommended as several overgrown paths with nettles and brambles.
A couple of shops in the afternoon sell ice cream and there is a pub in Seer Green.
