Overview

This walk will follow the Monnow Valley Walk and other paths as far as Brook House.  We then double back following Black Brook and Norton Brook to return to the start point.  Local legend has it that on nights when there is a full moon the devil dances with his lady at Skenfrith Castle.  On the walk we will pass Blackbrook House, once the residence of a religious order of Benedictine monks who dressed in black habits.
