Overview

Nelson Pit car par SK12 1TH to Lyme Park, 6.5 miles
Car park is £3.70 for over 3 hours and Ring Go app can be used.
We will walk up to Windgather, turning left over the fields to Platt Wood Farm, this is over three fields
that if wet, will be slippy so poles are recommended.
We then walk back along the drive, hoping to get to the Timberyard for coffee (toilets).
We then return via West Park Gate and back down to the canal.
There is a cafe at the end of the walk, The Pretty Boat Cafe on the canal if anyone is looking for a drink
and snack or otherwise The Boars Head.
