Overview

Starting from Newark Market Square we make our way to Clay Pit Lane and then to the top of Beacon Hill. We then visit Beacon Hill Conservation Park where we have a coffee stop. Then back to the Town Hall.

Clay Pit Lane is part track and part public footpath, the rest of the walk is on firm paths. The walk has lots of Newark's Industrial history and some Civil War history.

The AGM starts at 2pm but we will have access to the town hall from 1.30pm for tea/coffee and biscuits.
