A walk exploring the fascinating social history of Notting Hill - from great estates to immigration, 60s counter-culture, 70s insurrection, the Carnival .....and that film. A lunch break at an arts centre Is planned (toilets and cafe - reasonably priced Caribbean food), or bring a picnic. This is a repeat of the over-subscribed walk in February.
The walk finishes near Westbourne Park underground station, but an extension will be available following the Grand Union Canal via Little Venice to Paddington (estimated finish 3.30pm).
