Come and explore our Solar System via Otford's scale model, which is the largest in the world and was the millennium brainchild of a local astronomer. Starting with the Sun and (relatively) nearby planets in Otford Recreation Ground, we visit more distant Neptune and Jupiter and far-flung Pluto (then classed as a planet) near Filston Farm. We return in good time for lunch to our car park opposite a pub and a stone's throw from a choice of cafes.
Easy underfoot (though some parts may be muddy), virtually flat and no stiles.
Please bring a snack and water.

Park in Otford Village Car Park (free on Sundays), opposite The Bull. Meet outside Otford Village Memorial Hall. Otford Station is a short walk away. If coming by train, please check whether or not there is a replacement rail service before setting out - it takes longer.
