Overview

A beautiful walk that ticks all the boxes. Starting at the pretty village of Trottiscliffe (pronounced Trosley) on the way to Birling with its towering church, we walk along quiet lanes and across meadows and woodland. After a gentle ascent to the North Downs way - with a view of the grade II-listed Birling Place - we reach the North Downs Way and return to Trottiscliffe, with lovely views across the valley. On our descent, we stop at the pre-historic Coldrum Stones and take in the picturesque 11th century St. Peter & St. Paul's church.
