This is an old favourite from Wrotham to Stansted and onwards to the London Golf Club (week-day green fees £115!). After a rather ugly subway crossing under the M20 the walk continues to the unexpectedly picturesque St. Edmund's Church in West Kingsdown, which dates from the 11th century. Having crossed the busy A20, we carry on across fields and horse paddocks towards the North Downs Way, which joins the Pilgrims Way on our return to Wrotham.
Some stiles, but no significant hills, apart from the initial ascent from Wrotham and the descent to the Pilgrims Way. The pace will be comfortable, definitely not brisk! It is likely to be muddy after rain, so suitable boots/walking shoes are recommended.
Please bring a picnic for our stop in West Kingsdown.
