Our walk will commence from the car park, where we will set off along a well-maintained path in the direction of Pefferside. As we progress, we will pass by the Scoughall settlement before reaching the atmospheric ruins of Seacliff House.
The route continues along the established path, bringing us to the dramatic sea cliffs. From this vantage point, we will enjoy impressive views of both Tantallon Castle and the iconic Bass Rock. At this point, we will turn around and begin our return journey along the seashore.
On the way back, provided the tide is favourable, we will have the opportunity to explore Seacliff harbour, reputed to be the smallest harbour in Scotland. We will then continue our walk along the picturesque Seacliff beach, taking in the beautiful coastal scenery.
After a leisurely stroll along the sands, we will make our way back to the car park, completing the circular route where we began.
The walk can be done opposite direction depending on tides timing.
Please contact walk leader if you want to join the walk at least 24 hours before the walk, preferably by txt.
The car park costs £3.
