Overview

From the church we'll head West then North via the nurseries at Totwellhill Bushes and Netherhall Common to to join the Stort Valley Way that leads to Roydon Mill, where we'll take a break in the churchyard.  From there we'll head back south via Halls Green to Roydon Hamlet.

The New King Harold lies nearby in Bumbles Green Lane, postcode EN9 2RY.  It opens at 12:00 and this may provide a parking option for those who choose to return there for refreshments after the walk.  From here its a short 1/3 mile walk to the meeting point, All Saints church at the end of Betts Lane.  Head along the footpath that heads West form the pub to the lane, turn right.  Please allow 10 minutes extra journey time if choosing this parking option.
