Overview

This linear walk takes in the beautiful Lochan an Uaine (the Green Loch) and Ryvoan Bothy. At just over nine miles, it is, for the most part, easy going on good paths with all the ascent at the start and then a long descent through the wonderful Abernethy Forest . We eventually arrive in the village of Nethy Bridge which (if time allows before our bus back) is worth a wander around and has a rather nice coffee shop.

We’ll take the bus to Glenmore for the start of the walk and then back to Aviemore from Nethy Bridge.
