Work up an appetite for New Year's Eve shenanigans with a bracing walk up the hill from Shoreham Station and over to the next valley, Magpie Bottom. Will we have seasonal snow - the photo was taken last January so who knows? Views of Canary Wharf on a clear day for those who take a lugubrious delight in proximity to London. If Paisley's feeling up to it, she'll lead; if not, you'll have to put up with her human pet.
Steep hills; bring a snack if you need refuelling and poles if you use them.
Come by train or park in the Station Car Park (free), layby opposite, or considerately in Station Road. We'll meet in Station Car Park.
