Overview

Everyone is very welcome to join East Herts Ramblers on a walk around Reed, Barkway and Buckden. The walk is on good tracks, some minor roads, across some muddy fields and crosses the A10 twice. On my recce there were skylarks and buzzards and I saw 3 herd of deer. It’s an area of huge fields, big skies and great views. The walk is along the top of the escarpment, where Hertfordshire drops down towards Cambridgeshire, so there are no major climbs.
