Gob-smacking views onto and from the South Downs. Lewes - Mount Caburn - Glynde - Firle - Beddingham Hill - Southease - Front Hill - Kingston - Lewes
Quite strenuous in places. Lunch at Southease: either purchase at Youth Hostel cafe (where you can also fill your water bottle) or consume packed lunch there, or by the lovely Church. Park and meet at Pinwell Road car park (near but not at Lewes train station) BN7 2JS; free on Sundays. Coffee shop open early on Friar's Walk (B2193) near car park. Refreshments also available at very pleasant Arts Centre at walk's end.
Turn left on to Pinwell Road from Lewes station end. 200 yards down road is small car park (free on Sundays) on left, past Arts' Centre.
