A steep climb to a less well known hill near Lochgoihead and visit to the tragic remains of a crashed aircraft.

Follow the estate track from Corrow then NW up steep, open hillside to point 475m. Ascend through the crags and then continue to the summit of Stob na Boine. Descend SW to the B29 crash site. Return E and then SE to return to the start.

Local Grade: B

Terrain: Some good estate tracks but mostly trackless, open hillside.

Max height: 658 m.
