The Street CP, Goyt Valley - MEDIUM WALK

Start: 10am Street Car Park, Goyt Valley SK013 758, approx 8 miles moderate with at least one strenuous climb. Route: Fernilee reservoir, N above R Goyt, cross river at footbridge and through Shallcross Wood, Taxal Church, Taxal Moor Rd, climb to Taxal Edge, Windgather Rocks, Pym Chair, down Street to turn for Errwood Hall, Shooter's Clough Bridge and walk back to Car Park alongside Errwood reservoir. There will be some muddy stretches but hopefully not too bad. Depending on weather I may reverse the route or if it is very poor shorten it. Packed lunch required. Phone 07721927822
