We are the East Cheshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Meet at the entrance in the free car park for this easy, mostly flat walk on good paths/bridleways and quiet lanes. We walk down to Styal Mill {toilets available}, over the River Bollin taking a short incline out of Quarry Bank passing Bank House Farm, across Altrincham Road, by Moss Grove Farm to Morley Green. We take a loop through Newgate Nature Reserve, down Morley Green Road, across a field to the Airport Inn. Here we link up with the Bollin Valley Way, walk parallel to the airport runway making our way back to the car park via Norcliffe Hall and Styal village.
Bring a snack/drink for a break half way, there are no stiles, dogs are welcome and it will be muddy in a couple of places. Any queries text 07860 352626.
