We are the Northallerton Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting from Thimbleby Shooting Ground, we walk by road and field paths to Osmotherley where we pick up the Cleveland Way passing Oak Dale reservoir and up to Square Corner (steep ascent!) We then meander through Silton Forest back for tea and cake at the Shooting Ground cafe. Only 1 stile but 2 good hills with 497m total ascent.
Walk poles useful for the muddy stretches & for one short, steep descent.

Thimbleby Shooting Ground car park. At the southern end of Thimbleby village on the right when approaching from the A19 or the left when approaching from Osmotherley/Thimbleby. Look out for the well signposted entrance lane.
